Background
Having qualified from university in 2001, Peter went to work for a large multi-disciplined award winning architectural practice in Manchester, Abbey Holford Rowe (now AHR) gaining valuable experience working with a mix of bluechip clients.
He then went on to work for The Harris Partnership Architects gaining valuable experience working on a wide mix of commercial, retail, industrial and leisure projects with clients such as Travelodge, B&Q, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, KFC, Homebase, Wicks DIY and Aldi Stores.
Whilst the corporate & commercial world has its benefits, his passion for residential architecture has grown over the years and in 2011 he set up PJH Architectural Services.
In all walks of life, building a trustworthy and honest relationship is key. This has been the driver within the practice from the off. It’s critical to listen to client’s needs in order to be able to offer valued and creative design advice.
It sounds like a cliche, but what we do, changes our clients lives. We provide thoughtful and creative design ideas to provide better and more functional living spaces to enhance peoples/family’s quality of life.
Peter personally overseas all projects within the office and maintains close working relationships with all clients and consultants throughout all projects.
Peter’s technical background ensures that there is a smooth transition between all design stages ranging from client liaison and consultation through to planning, building regulations and detailed drawing stages as well as offering invaluable continued on-site presence throughout the build process.

After finishing university studying Geography, Tom spent some time living back in his hometown of Morecambe before deciding to go travelling.
The initially planned 6 month excursion turned into a 3 year trip through south-east Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and west coast USA. Whilst exploring the different locations throughout the different continents visited, Tom’s passion for Architecture was re-ignited. During a stint of temp jobs, an architecture practice in Sydney enabled him to get a feel for what the job he dreamt of was really like, so he set his sights on The University of Salford’s Architectural Design and Technology, set to graduate Summer 2022.
