Planning Submitted – Kearsley, Bolton
PJH Architectural Services have recently submitted a planning application to Bolton Council on behalf of our client’s ground floor wraparound extension project in Kearsley, Bolton. Having never been extended before, the proposals look to maximise the available space within the property; extending at both the side and the rear into the sizable corner plot. Corner plots come with their own set of challenges due to tighter local planning restrictions, however we’ve been able to comfortably work within these to provide the client with a large open plan kitchen and dining area complete with a larder and sizable utility room. The corner plot does have it’s benefits, allowing us to propose large glazing elements on both the side and rear of the extension in order to flood the new open plan space with plenty of natural daylight. The proposals also incorporate a new downstairs WC to the front of the property. Now planning has been submitted to Bolton Council we are looking forward to receiving planning consent and progressing onto our detailed building regulation and tender drawings.
