Planning Approved – Eccles, Salford
Planning has recently been approved by Salford City Council on our clients proposed two storey rear extension project on their property in Eccles, Salford. Working with a relative new build property, the brief was to extend as far as possible in order to maximise the internal footprint of the house. At ground floor, the 4m extension houses a new open plan kitchen, dining & snug area while the existing kitchen is to be repurposed as a music room and new ground floor shower room. At first floor, the intention was simple – bigger is better! The 2 bedrooms to the rear of the property are to be extended into the new rear extension with new walk-in-wardrobes and en-suites to both. Finally, the vast head height in the existing loft is to be utilised as a new master bedroom suite with en-suite, the new loft conversion is tied into the rear extensions through a tall wall of apex glazing to provide continuity with the rest of the property. Upon receiving planning consent, we have produced a detailed set of Building Regulations drawings. These drawings can be used to get accurate quotes from builders and contractors.
