Planning Submitted – Eccles, Salford
PJH Architectural Services have recently submitted a planning application to Trafford Council on behalf of our client’s 3 storey rear extension project in Eccles, Salford. Working with a relative new build property, the brief was to extend as far as possible in order to maximise the internal footprint of the house. At ground floor, the 4m extension houses a new open plan kitchen, dining & snug area while the existing kitchen is to be repurposed as a music room and new ground floor shower room. At first floor, the intention was simple – bigger is better! The 2 bedrooms to the rear of the property are to be extended into the new rear extension with new walk-in-wardrobes and en-suites to both. Finally, the vast head height in the existing loft is to be utilised as a new master bedroom suite with en-suite, the new loft conversion is tied into the rear extensions through a tall wall of apex glazing. To provide continuity with the rest of the property. Now planning has been submitted to Salford City Council we are looking forward to receiving planning consent and progressing onto our detailed building regulation and tender drawings.
