Planning Submitted – Blackley, Manchester
PJH Architectural Services have recently submitted a planning application to Manchester City Council on behalf of our client’s project in Blackley, Manchester. Our clients property had already been extended to the rear in the form of a long, thin kitchen extension and a conservatory that was too hot in summer and too cold in winter. By removing these, we had the opportunity to open up the rear of the property to provide our clients with their dream open plan kitchen, dining and family area as well as incorporating a sizable utility room. Through the use of several large glazing features, extensive views of the rear garden were provided from all areas of the open plan space. At first floor, we utilised the footprint of the existing garage and built up to create a first floor side extension looking to house a new master bedroom complete with walk-in-wardrobe space and an en-suite. Now planning has been submitted to Manchester City Council we are looking forward to receiving planning consent and progressing onto our detailed building regulation and tender drawings.
