Planning Approved – Timperley, Altrincham
Planning has recently been approved by Trafford Council on behalf of our clients ground floor rear & side extension and first floor side and partial rear extension. Our client was looking to maximise this existing 1930’s semi-detached property as much as possible, whilst still abiding local planning policy. The ground floor rear looks to extend approx 5m from the existing rear perimeter wall (a further 2.2m from existing extension and 1.5m from the adjoining neighbouring’s extension, although this extension goes against local planning policy guidance of “3m projection” we are looking to utilise the fact the neighbour has also heavily extended. We have looked to create a large open plan kitchen, dining & snug area to the rear and utility, WC cloakroom within the side extension.
The first floor looks to provide an additional bedroom whilst converting the existing “box room” into a more usable bedroom. The side extension creates the new front bedroom an allow us to relocate the bathroom, which is required to provide access into the new master bedroom, complete with en-suite, which is situate with the first-floor rear extension. Upon receiving planning consent, we have produced a detailed set of Building Regulations drawings. These drawings can be used to get accurate quotes from builders and contractors.
