Planning Submitted – Hale Barns, Trafford
PJH Architectural services have recently submitted a planning application to Trafford Council, on behalf of our clients annex in Hale Barns, Trafford. Having had their family home individually designed and built in 2009, our client approached us in need of some architectural flair and inspiration, in order to create a multifunctional separate annex type structure.
Situated within The Greenbelt within Hale Barns, we considered a multitude of options in order to appease the local planning authority, firstly consisting of a stand a alone garden building, however given the tight planning restrictions associated with properties on greenbelt land, we concluded that the most viable option would be to create an interlinked contemporary annex that complemented the form of the host dwelling yet provided a visual contrast. Now planning has been submitted to Trafford Council we are looking forward to receiving planning consent and progressing onto our building regulation and tender drawings.
