Planning has recently been received by Cheshire East Council, for our client’s ground & first-floor side extension and ground floor rear extension on their property in Knutsford, Trafford. Our clients have recently purchased this semi-detached property Meadow Drive, Knutsford with the intention to maximise the available space and reconfigure the internal layout to better suit their needs. The ground floor layout was a classic semi-detached, isolated rooms with a small kitchen extension to the side as well as an adjoined garage. Our client to extended out 3 meters to the rear and just under 4m to the side in order to create an open plan kitchen, dining and snug area, as well as large office space at the front of property. Our client also desired a new utility space and downstairs WC. The large side extension offers enough space to facilitate these two rooms.

The first-floor extension sits directly above the ground floor side extension and creates enough space to convert the 3 small bedroom property into a 4-bedroom property, all of which are usable good sized bedrooms. The master bedroom is inclusive of en-suite and with a large new bathroom made from the existing box room, this house can become a home for our clients. To tie this works altogether, a new porch and canopy have been added to front of property. Upon receiving planning consent, we have produced a detailed set of Building Regulations drawings. These drawings can be used to get accurate quotes from builders and contractors.
