Planning Approved – Bolton, Lancashire
PJH Architectural Services have recently produced a set of building regulations drawings on behalf of our client. This property Is a combination of 3 terrace cottages which over the years have been knocked through and converted into one property. This coupled with the fact the original construction of the properties dates to the 1700’s, has resulted in the property being a little uneven, mismatched and in need of modernising. To start with we look to reposition the staircase to the front of property. This was to allow us to completely open the ground floor of the property up and creating a large kitchen, dining area and lounge area to the rear and bedroom, WC and storage to the side. The stair now looks out to the front through the full height atrium, which creates a striking feature to the front elevation. Other minor internal reconfigurations to the first and second floors have been made in order to better facilitate our client’s needs and wants, including reconfiguration of window positions in order to regain some constancy to the external appearance of the property. Upon receiving planning consent, we have produced a detailed set of Building Regulations drawings. These drawings can be used to get accurate quotes from builders and contractors.
