Planning Submitted – Bolton, Lancashire
PJH Architectural Services have recently submitted a planning proposal for our client’s ground & first-floor side extension and ground floor rear extension on their property in Bolton, Lancashire. Our clients detached property on Oldstead Grove in Bolton, suits our client’s location wise but they are growing family could do with a bit more space. So, we designed with the intention to maximise the available space and reconfigure the internal layout to better suit their needs. The ground floor existing layout had big, but isolated rooms. By extending 3.5m to the side and 2m to the rear, we were able to create an open plan kitchen dining area integrated into the existing lounge. A large utility boot room/ utility and large office space both accessed of a new hallway position at the rear of the at the front of property.
The first-floor extension sits directly above the ground floor side extension and creates enough space to convert the 3 small bedroom property into a 4-bedroom property, all of which are usable good sized bedrooms. The master bedroom is inclusive of en-suite this house can become a home for our clients. To tie this works altogether, a new porch and canopy have been added to side of property. We look forward to receiving planning consent and progressing onto the next stage of the project.
