Planning Submitted – Hale, Trafford
PJH Architectural Services have recently submitted a planning proposal for our clients proposed ground & first floor side extension and ground floor rear extension. Looking to maximise the floor space within the semi-detached property, we worked closely with our client to design with both their requirements and budget in mind, whilst abiding local planning policy. At the ground floor, the side extension looks to add a much-needed storage room (accessible from the front of property) as well as a ground floor shower room/ WC. The rear extension aims to create a large open plan kitchen/ dining area – much better suited to our clients needs than the existing cramped outrigger extension, two sets of sliding doors and 4 Velux rooflights will allow for copious amounts of natural daylight to this open plan space. The existing dining area has been repurposed into a family room/ music room. The first-floor side extension looks to add space rather than bedrooms. With a slight reconfiguration to the layout, we were able to create 2 large bedrooms and a spacious bathroom from the previously small bedrooms and claustrophobic bathroom. Planning has been now been submitted to Trafford Council and we look forward to progressing onto producing building regulations drawings for our client.
