Building Regulations drawings produced – Stockport, Manchester
PJH Architectural Services have recently produced a set of building regulations drawings on behalf of our client. Having just recently purchased the detached property in Stockport, Manchester our client was eager to sculpt their new property into a home tailored to their specific needs. Looking to complete works under permitted development, our client wanted to recreate the isolating and awkward ground floor layout into a new open plan space. By first removing the existing outrigger kitchen, initially to small to be practical, and a few internal wall as well as extending the full width of the house by 3.5m – we created a large open plan kitchen, dining and snug area. Meeting our client’s further requirements and allowing for a new ground floor WC, guest room and utility room within the freed-up space. Our client also looked to renovate the front elevation of the property, mainly by replacing the now dated and age-worn flat roof dormer, which had started to leak, with a new anthracite grey clad hipped roof dormer. We decided to further the renovation with a new roof and a new clad porch to match the new dormer, this new design looks to thrust the dated 70’s property into the 21st century. now issued, these drawings can be used to get accurate quotes from builders and contractors and works can progress under permitted development.
