Planning Approved – Monton, Salford
Planning has recently been granted by Salford City Council for our clients rather exciting home extension project. The current 3-bedroom semi-detached property has received consent to increase to 6 bedrooms with total 2 living areas, 3 bathrooms/en-suites, gym facilities and a large open plan kitchen, dining area & snug area. In order to achieve this, we looked to create lots of new space by proposing to extend on a number of fronts. The basement conversion & extension, ground floor rear & side extension, first floor side extension and dormer loft conversion & extension provided ample space to work with. During the planning process it was discovered that the property sat within flood zone 2 and thus a basement conversion & extension could provide future implications. To ensure planning was granted and our client could proceed with the proposed, we worked closely with Salford City Council and a trusted Environmental Risk Assessment Consultancy, Argyll Environmental, who we have a long-standing working relationship with. Now planning has been received we have produced a detailed set of Building Regulations drawings for our clients. These drawings can be used to get accurate quotes from builders and contractors.
