Planning Submitted – Manley Road, Sale
Planning submitted – PJH Architectural Services have recently submitted a planning proposal for our client’s ground floor rear & first-floor side extensions on their property in Sale, Manchester. The property had just been purchased by our clients with the plan to create the perfect home for their family. The existing ground floor side extension (garage) was a space our client felt would not be suitable for their current needs. The same was said regarding the current kitchen, dining room and lounge area which were all very isolated from one another. Like a lot of young families, our client desired an open plan ground floor layout, with additional space reserved for utility room and an office space. We first looked to extend the rear of property (at ground floor level) to produce more space and then with the removal of internal walls created a large open plan living/kitchen and dining area complete with bi-folding doors and roof-lights to maximise the natural daylight available. The existing garage was then converted to a liveable space and utilised into a utility room and an office/ study space. We then looked to add an additional master bedroom and increase the bathroom size with a first-floor side extension that builds up off the existing ground floor extension.
