On site progress – Woodstock, Knutsford
Further to receiving full planning consent from Cheshire East Council (see news feed post 1st November 2018) works are progressing well on site. The internal strip out is complete back to brickwork. The necessary bat licenses have been received from National England ‘https://www.naturalengland.org.uk’ which allows for the careful removal of the existing roof covering and structure in accordance with the ‘bat survey and mitigation report’ carried out by Verity Webster Ecologist.
A full roof tarpaulin has been installed to provide protection to the existing structure during the roof removal.
New roof timbers will be installed along with supporting steel-work within the coming weeks. In the meantime, our client is looking ahead and focusing on the more aesthetically pleasing elements such as kitchen and bathroom/wet room designs and internal finishes.
More posts to follow over the coming weeks……
