Planning Approved – Hale

Planning granted!!!

Great pre-Christmas news for our client, as we’ve recently received planning consent from Trafford Council for their ground floor rear/side extension and loft conversion for their period semi-detached property on Laburnum Lane in Hale Barns, close to Hale Village.

This project consisted of renovating and extending a period semi-detached property to allow more space for a growing family. The extension features a simple mono pitch form to the rear/side extension, with a fully glazed rear elevation onto the garden, allowing for an open-plan kitchen/dining/living space.

The proposed loft conversion provides the potential for a master bedroom, however our clients often have guests staying with them, therefore the loft extension is an ideal space for guests to stay in comfort with the use of a designated en-suite within the extension.

We worked closely with the owners throughout, getting to know their likes and dislikes, to feed into the design. PJH Architectural Services advised every step of the process, including guidance to gain permissions and dealing with planning submissions. Now that planning has been approved, we have been appointed to produce full building regulations and tender drawings and help our client with the tender process to a select group of local builders.
